Sudhanshu Bahuguna ji was born in a family of Sanskrit Scholar and was into Music from his childhood. Seeing his abilities, Late Shree Pt .Vinay Chandra Maudgalya (Founder Principal of Gandharva Mahavidyalya) initiated him into Classical Music. Later he joined Sh. V.N.Patwardhan and pursued his M.A. and M. Phil in HINDUSTANI Classical Music.
Sudhanshu Bahuguna was into Music from his childhood. His first Guru Late Pt .Vinay Chandra Maudgalya (Founder Principal of Gandharva Mahavidyalya) Initiated him into Classical Music and trained him in classical as well as Choral music, Under his able guidance he did his Sangeet Visharad & Sangeet Alankar from GANDHARVA MAHAVIDYALYA MANDAL (Bombay). Later he joined Sh. N. V. Patwardhan and pursued his M.A. and M. Phil in HINDUSTANI Classical Music from The Faculty of Music & Fine Arts, Delhi University. He is Now taking his advance lessions from PT. L.K. Pandit of Gwalior Gharana. Sudhanshu was awarded scholarship by SAHITYA KALA PARISHAD, DELHI for Hindustani Classical Music in the year 1988. In the year 1990 He participated in 5th Yuva Mahotsava of Sahitya Kala Parishad and was awarded the best choir Director. In the year 1991 He again Participated in 6th Yuva Mahotsava as a Vocalist (Hindustani classical). He has numerous performances to his Credit. He has extensively toured Norway, Denmark, Sweden, England, Germany, Holland , Nigeria etc.for The Music Concerts. He has taught Senior Classes of Hindustani Classical Music at Gandharva Mahavidyalya, New Delhi for nearly a period of 25 years. Monitoring a Choir named “SWAR TRISHA” for more then 25 years which has acclaimed a name in the field of choral Music for its unique style of rendering all kinds of music with a special touch of its own. The choir has performed at many National Level programmes. The Choir occasionally performs for Sahitya Kala Parishad, Hindi Academy, Sanskrit Academy, Urdu Academy, Mathali & Bhojpuri Academy and many more Organisations. Sudhanshu has been working as a Music expert for some of the prestigious Institutions like C.C.R.T. (Center for Cultural resource and Training), Gandhi Smriti & Darshan Samiti, Sh. Lal Bahadur Shastri Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya and Sahitya Kala Parishad Delhi Govt A C.D. Named “SWASTI MANTRA” Is released in his name. At present Running his own Music institute “Swar Trishna School of Music” for Classical Vocals.
